There has been a more-or-less unscheduled break from our Campaign (and thus this blog) with the arrival of my daughter, born last January. I had hoped to be able to play more during the ensuing parental leave, but alas it did not work out that way. We have since started playing Heroscape and (recently) Castle Ravenloft, and both games are great at satisfying the RPG itch, in a fast-and-lightweight kinda way.
But now that I am back at work, in a regular routine that includes two 45-minute bus commutes each day, I am getting back to the real thing, revising (and greatly improving) my Campaign plans, being presently in the process of fleshing out what will become our playthrough of 4th Edition's first published module, Keep On the Shadowfell (with lots of customizing by way of Myrhdraak's "Demon Prince of Undeath Conversion").
